Energas is proud to announce that it signed a distribution agreement with the Germany gas compressor company VPT Compressors to sell and support their products in South Africa.

VPT designs and supplies compressor skid packages for special gasses, including Biogas. In Germany, Biogas is produced at low pressure, cleaned by removing CO2 and any harmful components and then pressurized to pipeline pressure. Biogas is considered as green and is of value, especially for manufacturers exporting to Europe. 

VPT Compressors are also used to compress natural gas to the inlet of turbine power generators which benefits from higher inlet pressures. 

VPT compressors can be used to compress LNG Boil-off gas for use on-site by gensets, re-gasifiers or compress the gas in the gas line. 

VPT also designs special compressors for special gasses such as helium.
