Turboden
Cogeneration & Heat Recovery
Turboden is a leading European company in development and production of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) turbogenerators. The state-of-the-art equipment generates heat and power from renewable sources and heat recovery in industrial processes.
The turbogenerator transforms thermal energy into mechanical energy and finally into electric energy through an electric generator. Instead of water/steam, the ORC system vaporizes an organic fluid, characterized by a molecular mass higher than water, which leads to slower rotation of the turbine and less erosion of the metallic parts and blades.
The ORC system is completely automated, requires minimal operating and maintenance supervision and has a high flexibility and good performance at partial load as well.
